LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation Europe announced that they've named veteran label exec John Reid as President of Concerts.
Prior to joining Live Nation, Reid served as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman, Warner Music International, since 2007 where he oversaw global marketing efforts for artists such as Madonna, Green Day, Michael Buble, Muse and Bruno Mars.
Prior to joining Warner Music, Reid toiled as President of Island Def Jam Records USA, Chairman & CEO of PolyGram Canada (including PolyGram Music and Filmed Entertainment), and International Marketing Director at London Records. Reid also has experience in the live sector, serving as artist manager and tour & production manager for a number of acts, including the The Beastie Boys and Run DMC.
