Joshua Gracin MIA From American Idols Summer Tour

(CelebrityAccess News Service) — Joshua Gracin, the fourth runner up of hit TV how "American Idol," will not be joining the rest of the Idol cast on the road for their national tour, kicking off July 8 in St. Paul, Minnesota at Xcel Energy Center.

Major Curtis L. Hill of the United States Marines stated, "Lance Cpl. Joshua M. Gracin will not be participating in the American Idol tour as he was unable to complete his required training in the allotted time."

"We're sad that Josh won't be able to participate in the tour, but completely respect and applaud his commitment to the completion of his military duties," said Tom Ennis of 19 Entertainment."

The "Pop Tarts Presents American Idols Live!" 39-city tour will now feature nine contestants: Clay Aiken, Kimberly Caldwell, Julia Demato, Charles Grigsby, Kimberley Locke, Carmen Rasmusen, Rickey Smith, American Idol winner Ruben Studdard, and Trenyce. — edited by Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
