(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ricky Wilson, lead singer of Britain’s young rock superstars the Kaiser Chiefs, told an interviewer that the band only plans to record one more album before calling it a day.
The Leeds-based group released their debut album “Employment” earlier this year, and backed by the success of the single “I Predict A Riot,” enjoyed a bout of rapid stardom throughout 2005.
Wilson reportedly told ContactMusic that the band have no intention of spending the next 20 years together and will only make one more album together.
“We’ll definitely make our second and final album,” Wilson said. “I can’t understand why bands sign five-album deals. Don’t they want to do anything else?”
When pressed for his post-Chiefs plans, Wilson joked, “When we quit, I want to do exercise videos.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
