CARSON, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Katie Druetzler-Pandolfo has been named General Manager of The Home Depot Center it was announced by Bob Newman, Chief Operating Officer of AEG Facilities, operators of the 125-acre multi-sport venue and training facility on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) in Carson, California, built by AEG which opened in May 2003.
Pandolfo, who joined the staff of The Home Depot Center in March, 2004 as an Event Manager, also served for two years as Vice President, Events and Booking and Assistant General Manager of the venue for the past year. Pandolfo replaces Rod O'Connor who was recently named Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Energy.
"Katie brings a truly exceptional blend of experience to The Home Depot Center which has consistently been considered one of the most unique and diverse sports and entertainment facilities in the world," said Newman. "We are excited that she will now oversee our initiatives and incredible staff in what will be a very busy and exciting year."
Pandolfo's responsibilities will include management of all event services and operations at The Home Depot Center, including development and programming, guest relations, financial management, contract negotiations, logistics, community relations, parking, marketing and public relations. She will also be the venue's primary contact with the faculty and administration of CSUDH, the City of Carson and the surrounding communities, as well as other statewide elected officials.
