MEMPHIS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Blues Foundation held its annual "Keeping the Blues Alive" awards on February 3rd at the Doubletree Hotel in Memphis during their International Blues Challenge weekend. The event was held for the semi-finals and finals of the 23rd IBC competition, as well as seminars, presentations and receptions for blues societies, fans and professionals.
The awards are held to honor those who have made a significant "behind the scenes" contribution to blues music. Recipients are selected by a select panel of Blues professionals.
