NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Agency president and booking agent Kevin Neal has announced that he is departing from his post at Buddy Lee Attractions.
A veteran of 20 years at the agency, Neal has served as president of Buddy Lee since he took over for Tony Conway who exited the firm in 2009.
A native of Shreveport, La., Neal got his start in the industry by working with his father, agent and management Bob Neal, joining the Neal Agency in 1981 before transitioning to Buddy Lee.
“I am proud of the work we did at BLA during my tenure as President,” Neal told Nashville-based music trade MusicRow. “We built the company to new prominence, especially working with Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line and so many more."
Neal did not offer any insight into a possible future destination, but the rumor mill suggests that he might be headed to Creative Artists Agency or William Morris Endeavor. Buddy Lee did not have any comment on the disposition of Mr. Neal's roster and as of yet, no official announcements has been made about who will replace Mr. Neal as president at the agency. – Staff Writers
