LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Kid Rock is hitting the road this summer for a tour of North America that is aimed at concert-goers on a budget.
Promoted by Live Nation, tickets for all seats and all sections for the tour will be offered for 20 dollars, using paperless tickets where possible. In addition, steps are being taken at all tour dates to lower the prices for everything from beer and merch to parking. Venues will also be offering $4 dollar draft beers and value food packages for the tour.
The tour is also partnering with some Wal-Mart locations to offer twenty dollar "all in" tickets that include ticket fees and parking.
The tour kicks off on June 28th at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia and will run through September 15th at the Live Nation Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida with three special shows at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Kid Rock's hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Kool & The Gang, ZZ Top, and Uncle Kracker are confirmed as support acts on select dates.
Kid Rock is touring in support of his 10th album, Rebel Soul and will be promoting the tour with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 8th as well as appearing with Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino on Piers Morgan Live on April 12th.
