NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Kid Rock is "beyond devastated" after Mike Sacha, his personal assistant, was killed in an ATV accident at the performer's Nashville home.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, and a friend discovered Sacha's body late Monday morning after they could not locate him inside and expanded their search.
In a statement released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, investigators said that Sacha, 30, had driven several of Rock's guests to meet their Uber driver around midnight and while returning to the house, was involved in a fatal crash.
"While riding the ATV back toward the residence, Sacha apparently lost control and crashed," police said. The death was deemed an accident.
"I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I can not imagine how they must feel," said Kid Rock, said in a statement reported by The Times. "Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss." – Staff Writers
