Lady Antebellum's Tour Bus Catches Fire

GARLAND, TX (CelebrityAccess) — Country music's trip to American Country Music Awards was briefly interrupted after their tour bus caught on fire enroute.

In a post on her Instagram feed, Lady Antebellum member Hillary Scott wrote: "Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe."

A spokesperson for the Garland fire department told E! News that the bus caught fire after suffering a blowout on one of its tires.

Garland Fire Department Captain Billy Craven told Dallas Forth Worth's NBC 5 that the fire could have been much worse if not for the quick thinking of the bus driver.

"As soon as he realized that he had a fire, he didn't hesitate to get everyone off and then call 911," he said.
