(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The City of Lakeland has announced Mike LaPan as the new Director of The Lakeland Center. LaPan has been the Executive Director of Sun Dome, Inc. for the past 10 years where he has served with the current administrative team for over 24 years.
LaPan started his career in facility management at the University of South Florida’s Sun Dome located in Tampa, FL. He became a full-time employee of the Sun Dome in 1981, and has held various positions there including Business Manager and Director.
LaPan said, “I am ecstatic about this incredible opportunity. The Lakeland Center has a great reputation in the industry and I can not wait to be a part of that rich history.” He added, “The facility has the distinct advantage of having four separate buildings under one roof and I consider myself lucky to lead The Lakeland Center’s great staff into the future.”
