Laurel Mountain Shed Comes Back To Life

BUSHKILL, PA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After a 4-year hiatus, the Mountain Laurel Pocono Mountains Performing Arts Center will be open for business and hosting a summer concert series.

The 2011 summer concert series is set to kick off in July with a lineup that features musical artists such as KISS, ZZ TOp, Frankie Valli and the Beach Boys, as well as comedians such as Larry The Cable Guy.

Originally opened in 2003, the 10,000 capacity PAC went dark in 2008 when the center's board of directors dissolved itself and ceded control of the venue back to Pennsylvania real estate company, the Wolfington and O’Neil Property Group.

To handle the concert production, the property group has retained The Total Concert Team, led David Rodriguez and Marc Jason.

"We're really just trying to test the market with this first season," Total Concert Team's Marc Jason told the Wayne Independent. "But we expect to extend our seasons longer and longer as the word builds among artists and tourists coming to the area. We've got a good marketing plan, and we will be making a lot of noise about it, so we're pretty confident." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
