Lip Syncing In China Will Cost Ya'

BEIJING, China (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — During the 2008 Olympic opening ceremonies Beijing suffered embarrassment when it was revealed that the young Chinese girl with the sweet face and beautiful voice seen singing during the event was in reality lip-syncing. The true voice belonged to another Chinese girl dubbed “not pretty enough” for an event seen round the world.

Since the incident China has banned the use of lip syncing in concerts.

Two Chinese pop stars have become the first to be scrutinized under this new law which comes with a hefty fine.

Yin Youcan and Fang Ziyuan allegedly did not sing live at their September 2009 concert and for this they are being fined the equivalent of $12,000.

China’s ministry has now declared that lip-syncing 'misleads the public.

Maybe Britney Spears should skip China on her next tour. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
