PARIS, France (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Music France has sold French concert promoter Nous Productions to Live Nation for an undisclosed sum.
Nous, founded by Solomon Hazot in 2006, is one of the leading concert promoters in France and focuses primarily on producing concerts by international artists, including the tragic Eagles of Death Metal show at the Bataclan Theater last November which was the focus of a terror attack. Upcoming shows promoted by Nous include Royal Republic, Black Stone Cherry, Lacuna Coil and the Pixies.
Warner Music France acquired Nous in 2010.
“Warner Music France will concentrate on developing its concert business via its subsidiary Décibels Productions, specializing in the production of local artists,” record label said in a statement announcing the transaction.
Nous will become a part of Live Nation's French operation officially on Oct. 1st.
