ANTIOCH, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Concert giant Live Nation has put another outdoor concert facility up for sale, this time announcing that the Antioch, Tennesee, shed known as the Starwood Amphitheatre will be sold.
Live Nation owns 170 venues around the world, but recently put three other popular amphitheaters on the auction block, including the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Marysville, California, the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Noblesville, Indiana, and the Germain Amphitheatre in Columbus, Ohio.
The 19,000-capacity Starwood has hosted national acts since opening in 1985. Live Nation told local reporters that the company is committed to scheduled events for 2007, which already include concerts by the Charlie Daniels Band and country singer Brad Paisley. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
