NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — EMI Music North America has named Ron Pence as the head of its Brand Partnerships division, as the label group looks to develop new revenue streams.
In his new role, Pence will be tasked with building and expanding EMI Music’s relationships with key brands across North America, and creating partnerships between artists on EMI's roster and likely branding partners such as Microsoft, Starwood, American Express and Patron.
He will be based in EMI Music’s New York offices, and will report to Dominic Pandiscia, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Revenue Development for EMI Music North America.
Prior to joining EMI, Pence served in a similar capacity with Live Nation, setting up multi-million dollar strategic partnerships with brands including Coca-Cola, Constellation Wines and Pernod Ricard.
"Ron’s experience in the consumer products and music industries gives him a strong understanding of the delicate balance between the activation requirements of brands and the varying needs of the artist. His work in social and digital media proves that he can deliver the best possible outcome for brands and creative talent alike. He is an invaluable addition to the EMI Music team," said Dominic Pandiscia in a press release. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
