SILVER SPRING, MD (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has launched a 'preview center' for the soon-to-open Fillmore outlet in Silver Spring Maryland and announced the key components for their team at the venue.
Heading up booking at the club will be Justin Kujawa, formerly the promoter at The Pageant in St. Louis, with some assistance from Jackie Knight, who'd previously worked as a tour coordinator for Live Nation.
Another Live Nation alum and Silver Spring resident Stephanie Steel has been tapped to serve as general manager at the new Fillmore. Steele spent four years handling ticketing in Live Nation's amphitheater division in Nashville and Birmingham before she relocated to Silver Spring in 2006 to work as Event Manager at the Warner Theatre in nearby Washington, DC.
Additional staffing announcements are expected soon and Live Nation is reportedly hosting a job fair in mid-August for interested potential employees for the venue.
Live Nation also opened the Fillmore Silver Spring official Preview Center at 921 Ellsworth Drive in Downtown Silver Spring. The center seeks to educate visitors on the history of the Fillmore brand, including the original San Fran outlet and legendary promoter Bill Graham.
The Fillmore Silver Spring Preview Center will remain open until the 23,000 square foot, 2000 capacity Fillmore Silver Spring opens mid September. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
