MANCHESTER, UK (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation is teaming up with television network Channel 4 and streaming service Box TV to launch a new festival and accompanying television series.
The Platform Festival will be a two week long event held at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse, between the end of February and the beginning of March 2015.
Live Nation says it expects 75,000 fans over the course of the two weeks.
The festival will span three stages, with a main stage area that holds 4,500, a second room that holds 1,450 and a third room with a capacity of 350 that will be reserved for smaller performances by emerging artists.
As well, the festival will be broadcast on Channel 4 and Box TV in weekly, hour long best of shows and ten half-hour artist specials.
