LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Now that the dust from the merger has settled, Live Nation appears to be implementing some of the expected 'efficiencies' by trimming their workforce by as much as 100 staffers.
According to a story in Billboard, Live Nation has trimmed more than 100 employees in the last week, primarily from the "back office," including employees in accounting, business operations and other administrative functions.
Previous rumors that Live Nation was trimming talent buyers and stepping back from their club business do not appear to be grounded in fact, Billboard noted. Current club projects, including the Fillmore in Silver Spring Maryland are still in the works. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
