PERTH, Australia (CelebrityAccess) — The WA Football commission has launched a new stadium management operation which hopes to operate a new stadium at Burswood, as well as other venues in Australia.
Dubbed Perth Stadium Management, the standalone business unit will operate in partnership with catering company Delaware North, concert promoter Live Nation and their ticketing division Ticketmaster, the West Australian reported.
The partnership currently operates Domain Stadium in Subiaco and will submit a joint bid to run the new 60,000-seat stadium in Burswood, lining them up to compete with other stadium operators in the market, such as AEG Ogden.
"We are obviously intent on getting the new Perth stadium management rights, but if that doesn't happen there is still a sound business operating model for Perth Stadium Management," WAFC chief executive Gary Walton told West Australian. – Staff Writers
