ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation has renewed a long-term agreement with the Woodruff Arts Center to operate the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.
The 20-year deal will see the promoter continue to handle booking, scheduling, marketing and maintenance at the venue, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.
The agreement also includes options for two additional five-year periods and will see Live Nation make fixed payments of an undisclosed amount to the Woodruff, who will continue to own the 12,000-seat amphitheater.
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will continue to perform at both the Verizon and Chastain Park Amphitheater and will continue to handle scheduling and promotion of events at the symphony hall.
Live Nation also announced that they have retained the Atlanta Hawks to exclusively handle sponsorship opportunties for the venue.
