LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has announced it has signed a deal with the internet's top social music network, Last.fm, agreeing to provide the popular music fan website with U.S. and Canadian concert information.
The direct feed to Last.fm will give music fans instant acccess to concert information as well as links to purchase tickets.
By connecting music fans’ media players to the Last.fm database, Last.fm enables its 15 million users to receive recommendations on new music and concerts based on their listening preferences. Last.fm has a significant presence in the U.S., Canada, the UK and Europe, including the major music markets of France, Spain, Holland and Italy, all of which are markets in which Live Nation also has a strong presence.
