LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Hertz car rental company has signed a multi-year sponsorship and marketing deal with Live Nation, dubbed "Movin' With Music."
The three track agreement will make Hertz the official rental car marketing partner for Live Nation. Both companies will employ social media and mobile apps to introduce a broad range of enticements such as, sweepstakes and special offers.
On-site, Hertz will receive prominent brand exposure at 75 Live Nation-owned entertainment venues located in 25 major markets markets, including Hertz VIP Parking at some of Live Nation amphitheaters. Hertz Equipment Rental will also be Live Nation’s official equipment provider, supporting staging activities for many of Live Nation’s concert productions.
Hertz rental car booking capabilities and Hertz NeverLost navigation technology for event venue directions will be integrated across Ticketmaster's website as well.
The deal also entails Hertz becoming Live Nation's equipment provider, supporting transportation and staging activities at many Live Nation events around the country.
Moreover, Hertz plans to launch several major promotions in 2012 that will match artists with social media in events such as driving Hertz cars to concerts across the US. The first artist driven promotion will feature the electric soul pop band Fitz And The Tantrums.
