Live Nation Strikes A Partnership With New Phoenix Concert Hall

PHOENIX, AZ (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation and Crescent Ballroom owner Charlie Levy of Stateside Presents have sealed a deal on a partnership over The Van Buren, a new concert venue slated to open in Phoenix later this summer.

The 1,900-person-capacity Van Buren will offer both indoor and outdoor guest facilities, as well as state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems in the music hall. The venue also features a dedicated VIP lounge, and contemporary backstage amenities, including artist dressing rooms, and a special events room that's aimed at servicing the city's bustling convention trade.

Levy will handle day-to-day operations at the venue, a Live Nation rep said.

Levy said, “Live Nation brings its national experience to help continue growing the Phoenix music scene. This partnership is great news for the blossoming downtown scene while cementing Phoenix as one of the country’s leading music markets. It’s awesome to see a music district taking form.

“The deep relationships Live Nation enjoys with the world’s biggest acts and tours will help ensure that music fans here can regularly enjoy the top performances by the best artists anywhere.”

The 20,000-square foot property The Van Buren is situated on is located at Fourth Avenue and Van Buren Street, formerly the home of an auto dealer.

Shows already on the books for the Van Buren after it opens in August include Death Cab for Cutie, Chase Rice, Lifehouse, Future Islands, Ani DiFranco, and Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit.
