RENO, Nevada (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation Entertainment has signed a partnership with the the Grand Sierra Resort over the resort's Casino's Grand Theatre.
Designed by John Sergio Fisher & Associates, the 3,000-capacity theatre is currently undergoing a $10 million renovation, which includes new artists facilities, new sound and lights, improved seating and a new two-tiered enclosed entry. The renovation is expected to be finished with the theatre reopened for business by Summer, 2015.
The renovations at the theatre are part of a larger, $70 million refurbishment of the resort property which has taken place since the Grand Sierra was acquired by the California-based Merulo Group.
Financial terms of the agreement with Live Nation were not disclosed.
