BETHLEHEM, PA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has signed on with an exclusive, long-term agreement to book shows and events at the new entertainment venue currently under construction at the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Pa.
The 50,000-square-foot, 3,500 capacity venue can be configured for live events or conventions and is expected to be opened by May, 2012.
Live Nation was retained by Vision Entertainment Group, which partnered with the Sands on the project with hopes of bringing high caliber touring artists to Bethelehem, allowing them to compete with other gaming enterprises in Atlantic City.
Since opening in 2009, the Sands has expanded on their initial gaming footprint with a hotel, restaurants and other amenties. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
