LOS ANGELES, (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation Entertainment has named Rafael Lazarini as their new head of business development for South America.
In his new role, Lazarini will be based in Rio de Janeiro and report to John Hopmans, Live Nation's Executive Vice President of Business Development.
"Rafael brings incredible connections and great local market knowledge as we look to build our presence throughout South America," stated Mr. Hopmans.
An industry veteran with more than 20 years in the sports and entertainment world, Lazarini previously oversaw global business development for Rock World, a holding company for music festival Rock in Rio. Prior to that, Lazarini served as CMO and Head of Business Development at IMX Esportes & Entretenimento, where he led a series of acquisitions and developments, including the negotiations with international players such as IMG, Cirque du Soleil and AEG. – Staff Writers
