LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation appears to have garnered a lot of interest when they announced last month that their UK theatrical operations may be up for sale.
According to the UK publication, The Stage, Live Nation has a list of more than 20 potential buyers for their set of 17 theaters across the United Kingdom.
Included in the list of potential suitors are the a number of key UK-based competitors such as the Ambassador Theatre Group and Qdos Entertainment as well as international interests such as Amsterdam-based Stage Entertainment and John Gore's U.S.-based Key Brand Entertainment. Several private equity firms have also expressed interest in the portfolio of venues.
A source close to the negotiation told Stage that Live Nation plans to narrow the list down to "three or four" in the near future. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
