Live Nation Ups Jodi Goodman To President, Northern California

SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation Entertainment has upped Jodi Goodman of Jodi Goodman to the position of President, Northern California at the company. Goodman will continue to report to Bob Roux, Co-President of Live Nation Concerts.

Goodman's expanded portfolio includes oversight of booking, marketing and promotion in the Northern California region, as well as supervising and leading a team of thirty-five employees. While president, she will continue to manage and oversee bookings at Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View, and at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Other venues that fall under Goodman's purview include the Sleep Train Pavilion at Concord, Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Wheatland, Mountain Winery Saratoga, Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium, Punch Line Comedy Club, Cobb’s Comedy Club, Reno Event Center, Oracle Arena Oakland and Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento.

Prior to her promotion, Goodman was Live Nation's Senior Vice President, San Francisco and has worked at the office since she joined the company in 2003. She got her start in the industry in Boston in 1982 at the 450-capacity club Storyville, making it a major east coast rock venue. By 1985, she had expanded her operations into several other clubs and in 1987, she joined the leading regional promoter in the Northeast, Don Law Company.

While working with Don Law, she continued to book numerous Boston venues, including opening the first “Boutique” Amphitheaters on Boston’s waterfront called Harborlights.

By 1997 at Don Law Company, she became Vice President and would go on working in Boston promoting over 200 concerts a year until she left for the west coast, joining the San Francisco office of Live Nation in 2003. As Senior Vice President she shared booking and management duties for much of the company’s local efforts in the Northern California Region. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
