LMFAO Stop Honduras Concert Due To Fire, Criminal Hand Suspected

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — LMFAO has set Honduras ablaze, literally.

The 'Sexy and I Know It' duo were forced to stop their Wednesday night show after a fire broke out in the venue, causing a reported 15 injuries from smoke inhalation.

Singer Redfoo was performing a DJ set at the Coliseo Nacional de Ingenieros when a problem with the venue's electrical system apparently caused a blaze, according to England's Capital FM.

At the end of the show Redfoo took to his Twitter account to make a light-hearted comment at the incident. "Epic concert tonight!!!! Everybody in Honduras, we set the place on fire!!!! #sorryforpartyrocking ," he tweeted.

Shortly after he added: "they told us that there was a fire when we were on stage. Then we went to the dressing rooms and there was smoke in the halls ."

"On a serious note. Hope everybody is safe from the fire tonight! love you Honduras! ," he also tweeted.

Local authorities are now saying that they suspect a criminal hand in the fire to the electrical system.

Through LMFAO's label, Interscope, Redfoo gave this account to MTV News: "All of a sudden, right in the middle of 'Beatockin,' my manager Ian Fletcher shouted, 'There's a fire under the stage. We have to go!'

"I didn't want to go!" he continued. "I didn't realize how serious it was. The security escorted us out the venue. We were forced to leave a few items behind, nothing irreplaceable.

"I hope everybody is safe," he added. "Honduras fans are true party rockers! This will go down in history as one if craziest Redfoo DJ sets ever."

Redfoo and SkyBlu are still partying and preparing for their New Year's Eve gig at HAZE Nightclub in Las Vegas.
