SOUTHHAMPTON, UK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has named Mandy Fields to the newly-created job of Area General Manager for the south coast, tasked with overseeing the Southampton Guildhall and the O2 Academy in Bournemouth.
A veteran venue manager, Fields has been managing the Live Nation-operated Southampton Guildhall, where she has been for 15 years. Fields will continue to oversee the Guildhall's operations while adding the O2 Academy to her area of oversight as well. Nikki Miles,formely the bars manager at the O2 Academy will move up to general manager of the venue, reporting to Fields.
According to Music Week, Live Nation recently renewed their management contract with the Southampton Council over the Guildhall, effective until 2018.

As well as high profile gigs, we will look to accommodate more comedy, private hires and dance events.
