Lucinda Williams Postpones Remaining Dates of Tour

(CelebrityAccess News Service) — Lucinda Williams has postponed the remaining US dates of her current tour due to the passing of her mother. Lucille Morgan, 73, died on March 7 after a prolonged illness. Williams was scheduled to play in Charlotte, NC that evening. Upon receiving the news, Lucinda had to cancel the show and travel to Fayetteville, AR to be with her family.

Williams' remaining dates, March 9 in Nashville, TN; March 10 in Columbus, OH; March 12 in St. Louis, MO, and March 13 in Kansas City, MO are likely to be rescheduled for this summer. Her upcoming Australian and New Zealand April tour will go on as scheduled.
