SUFFOLK, UK (CelebrityAccess) — Latitude producer Festival Republic has announced that Lucy Wood has been named as the fest's new talent buyer.
Wood will replace Natasha Haddad, who has handled talent buying for the festival since 2013. Haddad is leaving the festival to take up a consultant role that will allow her to spend more time in the U.S. the company said.
Wood's previous experience includes a stint with Eat Your Own Ears, where she worked on festivals such as Field Day and promoting shows for artists such as Four Tet and Beirut.
Wood says: “I’m really excited to be joining the Festival Republic team. Latitude has always been one of my favorite festivals because it has consistently strong programming, and attracts people who are devoted to music but not hung up on genre. It’s amazing to be able to program for such an open-minded, music-loving audience.”
Festival Republic MD Melvin Benn added: “Natasha has become an integral part of the Festival Republic team, and will be greatly missed in that role but we obviously welcome her continued participation and advice in the consultancy role.
