Yolanda Macias has been appointed vice president, Business Development and Acquisitions, Universal Music and Video Distribution (UMVD)/Visual Entertainment. Macias will source new video content, providing research, analysis and development expertise and will also drive alternative revenues by securing studio partnerships and negotiating third party deals.

Before joining UMVD, Macias was vice president, DIRECTV PARA TODOS and International Services for DIRECTV, Inc.
