LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Queen of Pop, Madonna's crown may be in risk as Lady Gaga appears to be moving more tickets in the U.K. than the material girl.
According to the London's Weekly Standard, Lady Gaga sold out her first Twickenham Stadium date in a mere ten minutes and added a second date. Meanwhile, Madonna has yet to sell out her summer Hyde Park concert, which has been on sale for two months.
Madonna's Hyde Park date is the only English date on her current world tour, but the show has been criticized for high ticket prices. Tix to the Hyde Park show, which doesn't have seats, cost between £70 and £125, while tickets to Lady G's two shows cost £50-£80.
Madonna's responded to her critics by noting that "I’m worth it." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
