SALT LAKE CITY (CelebrityAccess) — MagicSpace Entertainment, in partnership with First Tracks Entertainment, has sealed a deal with Salt Lake County Center for the Arts to book and present music and other events at the new Eccles Theater.
First Tracks’ Chris Mautz will serve as the lead talent booker fot he venue and look to expand on the number of national touring artists that perform in the market.
“This beautiful venue offers patrons an extraordinary concert going experience and it is a game changer for artists touring the western United States,” says Mautz. “For the first time, Salt Lake City has a world-class venue with the amenities, capacity, marketing resources and, most importantly, avails to be an anchor date in routes for major acts.”
Mautz also handles booking duties for the Red Butte Garden Summer Concert Series and a similar series at the Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The 2,500 seat, state-of-the art Eccles Theatre is current under construction in downtown Salt Lake City and is slated to open in the Fall of 2016. – Staff Writers
