MILWAUKIE, OR (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Authorities have arrested 24-year-old Brandon Ruddick, charging him with selling fake concert tickets to people on community sites like Craigslist.
According to KVAL, more than 400 people were turned away from a from a Rascal Flatts concert held at the Rose Garden after the tickets they purchased, allegedly from Ruddick, proved to be counterfeit.
Ruddick has been previously convicted for a similar scheme in Washington County and wanted in connection to yet another such scam in nearby Lane County, Oregon.
Since being arrested and charged with theft, ID theft and possessing forgery tools, Ruddick has reportedly been paying back people who purchased tickets from him.
"I am very sorry and I am doing my best to get the money back," Ruddick told KVAL "I didn't mean to rip anybody off. That's why I'm giving the money back." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
