Marcel Avram Leaves DEAG

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — German entertainment group Deutsche Entertainment AG and longtime manager Marcel Avram have parted ways, with an agreement based upon a 2 year business cooperation under new conditions.

Avram was able to terminate his current contract with partner Peter Schwenkow, and will be acting as an independent entrepreneur. The cooperation agreement is a continuation of part of his former contract, saying that he will provide DEAG with rock and pop concerts in Germany with a two-digit million Euro business volume over the next two years, according to a press release.

In line with its strategy to internationalize the DEAG business, the company will be promoting performances throughout Europe with classical music superstars, and will promote large productions like Classical Spectacular in Scandinavia, Benelux, France and Spain.

Global Concerts Munich, a subsidiary of DEAG, will strengthen its position in Avram’s absence, as a local promoter in northwestern Europe. It will market DEAG tours in the region, and will act as local promoter for external tour promoters for shows like David Copperfield, Till Brönner, Laith Al-Deen and others.

Avram will now be working under his independent Concerts West company name. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
