Marciano To Helm AEG Europe

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Jay Marciano, formerly president of Madison Square Garden Entertainment, has resigned from the company to sign on as the new head of Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) Europe, Billboard is reporting. Marciano will replace David Campbell, who left the company in February for a leadership role at Formula One Racing.

An industry veteran, Marciano joined MSGE in 2005, where he oversaw booking and productions at MSGE's venues, including Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden.

Marciano is no stranger to AEG and prior to his tenure at MSGE, he served as chief strategy officer at AEG Live, where his portfolio included helping to oversee regional operations and new venue development.

Prior to his first stint with AEG, Marciano had an 18-year career at Universal Concerts, where he wore several hats, including that of president & CEO. While there, he oversaw the the $190 million sale of Universal Concerts to House of Blues Entertainment.

According to Billboard, Marciano's will relocate from New York to London to oversee all of AEG's European operations. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
