Mark Knopfler Announces Solo Tour

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Musician and songwriter and former Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler has announced plans a 36 – city North American tour in support of his forthcoming solo album Tracker.

Starting in Vancouver at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on September 10th, the tour runs throughout the month and October before a final show on Halloween at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale.

Tracker, due on March 17th, is Knopfler's 8th solo release.

As well, fans that purchase tickets to ‘An Evening with Mark Knopfler and Band’ online will receive a physical copy of Tracker for each pair of tickets purchased.
