New York-based Mars Talent Agency, with an office in Florida, has added a West Coast branch in Oxnard, CA.
Mars Talent Agency-West will be run by industry veteran Walter Stewart.
"Walter will be looking for West Coast accounts and looking into signing new
artists and continuing in signing classic rock acts from the 70's and 80s," Mars
Talent president Wendy Kay told CelebrityAccess. "I just felt it was time to
cover more territory and I think Walter is the man for the job."
Stewart will continue working with Johnny Rivers as a consultant to Soul City
Records and general manager of Top Secret Sounds, Rivers' touring company.
He will be representing John Ford Coley, Melanie, Maxine Nightingale, The
Trammps, Roughhouse and newcomer Big Waters.
