BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A concert by country songstress Martina McBride planned for the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Pelham for August 28th has been cancelled at the last minute by promoter Live Nation.
In a statement, Live Nation explained the last minute cancellation: "Due to flooding in the area and resulting damages in the venue, the Martina McBride concert scheduled for this Thursday, August 28th at the Verizon Wireless Music Center has been cancelled. Refunds are available at the point of purchase."
At present, no rescheduled date has been announced for the gig and the next concert on the schedule, the September 19th Third Day & Switchfoot show is still listed as a go.
