NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — After organizers revealed that Jay Z's Made In America festival would not be returning to Los Angeles or New York in 2015, they offered music fans a balm by announcing a special concert in New York.
The free, private concert, sponsored by beer-maker Budweiser, will be held at the foot of the Statue of Liberty, and will feature the queen of hip hop soul, Mary J. Blige. The concert is meant to serve as a prelude to the Made In America festival to be held in Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend.
While the event is free, tickets will offered via a lottery held on Budweiser's website. Ticket winners will be permitted to bring one 21+ guest. – Staff Writers
