(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — John Scher's Metropolitan Talent Presents has obtained the exclusive concert booking rights for the historic home for The New York Society for Ethical Culture, a 95-year-old concert hall overlooking Central Park on New York's Upper West Side. The 850-seat venue, located at 2 West 64th Street, recently underwent $1.5 million in renovations. The first concert is guitarist Robert Fripp on June 23.
“We’ve been searching for a unique opportunity to present artists in a great-sounding venue” said Metropolitan Talent Presents Co-CEO John Scher. “The concert hall has incredible acoustics, reserved seating and every seat in the house is a great one.”
“We are looking forward to developing a positive working relationship with Metropolitan Talent Presents," said Robert Liebeskind, executive director of The New York Society for Ethical Culture. "We have one of the most beautiful spaces in New York City and expect the relationship to be mutually beneficial to our organizations.” — Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
