Miami Bouncers Arrested After Patrons Brutalized

MIAMI (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — 8 bounces at Club Mansion, a popular Miami nightclub have been arrested after allegedly issuing a savage beat-down to a trio of spring-breakers over a disagreement about a $700 bar tab.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, the three men, Trevor F. Costello, Sean R. Sweeney and John Merryman, had been partying at the club and when their hefty bar tab arrived, the trio disputed it. Bouncers escorted the men to a back office where the disagreement escalated until one bouncer punched Costello in the face.

"This ignited a full-scale brawl in which the victims were punched and kicked repeatedly by all of the defendants," a police officer wrote in the report. "[The victims] were beaten and stomped while on the ground."

Another bouncer flagged down police who found the patrons suffering from a variety of cuts and bruises. Paramedics treated the men at the scene. The eight bouncers were arrested and charged with battery or aggravated battery. A number of additional employees at the club, run by the Opium Group may face charges and the men have already filed a 10 count lawsuit against Opium's parent company, Star Island Entertainment, alleging false imprisonment and negligence. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
