Midem And Berklee To Stage Music Conference In Boston


BOSTON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — MIDEM and Berklee College of Music are teaming up to bring a new music-focused concert dubbed "Rethink Music" to Boston from April 25-27, 2011.

The conference will seek to bring music industry stakeholders together with experts in the legal, business and academic fields to examine challenges to the music business and intellectual rights.

Topics up for discussion will include an examination of new business models by some of the innovators in digitial technology, including Nimbit, BigChampagne, MOG, Echo Nest, Topspin, RootMusic, NextBigSound, as well as the big players such as Google and Microsoft.
