BANGOR, ME (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Global Spectrum has named Mike Dyer as the first general manager for the under-construction Cross Insurance Center arena in Bangor.
The 8,000-capacity Cross Insurance Center is set for a fall 2013 opening and Dyer told the Bangor News that the venue will accommodate a variety of programming, including indoor motocross and national touring artists who require facilities such as Madison Square Garden or TD Garden.
Dyer is no stranger to the Bangor market, having served for 25 years as director of the city's Bass Park complex, which includes a 5,400-seat stadium and 20,000-square-foot civic center. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
