OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A Lincoln mom who left her 9-year-old alone at this week's Miley Cyrus concert in Omaha has been ticketed on suspicion of child neglect.
Omaha Police say 28-year-old Lesslie Martinez dropped her daughter off at the Qwest Center Omaha on Tuesday night and left.
After someone noticed the girl was alone, police started trying to track Martinez down. And arena security staff kept an eye on the girl during the show.
Martinez showed up at the area about 50 minutes after being contacted, and she told police she had been delayed by traffic and road work.
Police released the girl to her mother and ticketed Martinez.
