FT. MYERS, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Country music artist Mindy McCready has been hospitalized at Cape Coral Hospital. Her condition was not officially disclosed but some preliminary sources are reporting that McReady may have been hospitalized due to an alleged drug overdose.
According to local CBS affiliate WINK, McCready's mother said the singer was awake and responding to emergency responders transported her to the hospital via ambulance.
