Moir/Borman Entertainment Names Rose VP

SANTA MONICA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Steve Moir and Gary Borman today named Barbara Rose Vice President, Moir/Borman Entertainment. In her new role, Rose, a 20-year veteran of the entertainment business, will oversee the company's management division, whose current clientele includes Grammy-award winner and 2007 Grammy nominee Natalie Cole, Kenny Loggins and Universal recording artist Eliot Morris.

"Barbara possesses unique and highly qualified skills as an artist manager," said Steve Moir and Gary Borman in a joint statement. "She understands and embraces our philosophy, which places our clientele ahead of the changing face of the music industry, with forethought, execution and vision."

Ms. Rose was hired by Borman Entertainment in 2000 as Associate Manager to handle day-to-day activities and management of multi-platinum artist James Taylor, a role she performed for six years. She was instrumental in the marketing and execution of the highly successful, multi-platinum campaigns for releases including "Greatest Hits 2," "October Road," and "A Christmas Album." She coordinated the logistics for several of Mr. Taylor's sold-out tours, their related corporate sponsorships and was a producer for the Grammy-Award winning artist's MusiCares honors and recently released DVD.

Prior to Borman Entertainment, Ms. Rose held similar positions at Andy Gould Management where she managed Stabbing Westward and Five For Fighting and at Siddons & Associates where she handled management duties for David Crosby & Graham Nash, among others.

"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to help strengthen the management roster at Moir/Borman Entertainment," Rose said. "This is a highly evolved company, rich in great music, the most talented of artists and it is a thrill to be working alongside two of the most successful and respected executives in the music business in Steve and Gary." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
