NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — RCA Records has upped Adrian Moreira to the post of Senior Vice President, Promotion at the label. Previously, Moreira served as Senior Vice President, Adult Music for RCA.
Moreira has been with RCA since 1999, beginning his tenure as Senior Director, Modern Adult before taking over the adult music department as a vice president. Subsequently, Moreira advanced to Senior Vice President of Adult Music in 2009. While at RCA, Moreira has worked with numerous leading artists on the label's roster, including Christina Aguilera, Kings of Leon, Carrie Underwood, Dave Matthews Band, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry and Adam Lambert, among others.
Before joining the team at RCA, Moreira worked in promotions at London/Sire and in a variety of roles at Geffen but he got his start in the recorded music industry at Sony Music Distribution in the 1990s.
Moreira continues to report to Joe Riccitelli, EVP Promotion, RCA Records, and will remain in the company’s New York headquarters. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
